Your Situation

Life is a test to see what you will do with your situation. Jesus is the measure. He came from a questionable background, with rumors about his parentage, and went on to change the world. He was born in relative poverty in a remote part of the world. Loved by some and hated by many, he did not waver in accomplishing his life’s task. He was and is living proof that you do not have to have the backing of famous people to accomplish the job. You just have to take your situation and do something creative with it.

What makes the challenge fun is figuring out what you have been given in life and applying it to the impossible. Faith is the realization that another force is at work that brings something from nothing. There are no excuses; there are no places to hide. You were given your situation for a purpose. Do something with it that is heavenly.

There is no reward for whining or comparing yourself to others. What you have is enough. Jesus was a member of a despised minority in an occupied country. Some of his friends would just as soon turn him in as listen to him. In the end, he was executed. It is a matter of style. If you do what you do with a sense of Divine destiny, you will do much of the same. You will be in part the Jesus of your day. Your situation is not about limitations but about possibilities.

All you have to do is believe in the possible. The end result is not necessarily wealth or fame (though they are not ruled out). The conclusion of the matter is that you took less and made more. The world was made better because you were here. You took shrewd advantage of limited circumstances and opened another door for the betterment of humanity.

Your situation is not a problem. It is just a challenge to your imagination.
