YOUR Reality

by Dale Andrews on October 30th, 2009

Never let someone tell you who you are (or just don’t buy into it). Only you and God know you — and fully knowing yourself is still in the process. The world has a lot of con men and con women that make a buck inducing doubt into what you know you know. Listen for any valid content, but ignore their manipulations.

YOUR reality consists of your history, your perspectives, and all of your direct experiences - as they came into your world. We humans have some overlapping experiences, but we each have absolutely unique takes on things. No two people on this planet (including identical twins) have exactly the same experiences. We can ride the same rollercoaster, but we never have exactly the same sensations. We were created to be a bit subjective. After all, God made people not robots.

Some people will try to feed you manure and tell you it is chocolate cake. Integrity names things for what they really are. Overall, look for people to be out for their own security - but often at your expense. This is not a plug for paranoia; it is a reminder about the fallen nature of humanity and the fig leaves of control, power, and status used to cover humanity’s insecurities.

The most insecure work the hardest to sell their points of view. Somehow, anything unreal can be deemed as real if enough people believe it. However, that is simply mass trance. It has nothing to do with actual reality. You have the power and right to call it into question. There is strength is numbers, but there is also thoughtlessness and a herd mentality. Smoke is not fire. Merely parroting the opinions of others can be done with the IQ of a tape recorder.

You know what you know. You know to add valid information as it comes along. Most of all, you know that you are not expected to have the same total reality as anyone else that ever lived or ever will live on this planet.
