Saturday In The Rain

by Dale Andrews on December 27th, 2008

It is a perfect morning here in the coffee shop. Rain. Quiet. Caffeine. The Christmas Season has gone well. No disasters. Neil Traugh is in Room 211 after a fall. I am going to sneak him some more junk food later today. Yes, I am a hospital subversive. I sneak all sorts of good food to people marooned in hospitals. The nurses cannot figure out why the blood sugar readings are so high. The patient and I share a smile at the puzzled looks by the health care professionals. It is far better to be happy than perfectly well. I doubt if lightning will strike me dead for this. Is longevity really all it is cracked up to be?
I don’t think so.
Live while you live!
Lots of great music coming tomorrow. We are blessed by the best!
